About The Role
To join our team, we are currently looking for a trustworthy construction manager.
In this position, you will be in charge of organizing construction projects and ensuring that they are completed on schedule and within budget. The projects' planning, organization, implementation, and budgeting will be among your primary duties.
To ensure successful project execution, you will work closely with many stakeholders as the construction manager. You will make sure that every construction activity complies with the established schedule and budget thanks to your meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Your skill in project management will be essential for organizing resources, resolving any problems that may occur, and completing construction projects successfully.
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and report to Project Manager
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Requirements
Arecord of successful work in construction management
Advanced understanding of construction management techniques, tools, and procedures
Expert understanding of building materials, construction specifics, and applicable laws, rules, and quality standards
Knowledge of every aspect of the construction process
Familiarity with software for construction management
The capacity to organize and consider the "big picture"
Capable of managing conflicts and crises
Skills in management of human resources and leadership
Excellent project and time management abilities
A BS in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
