About The Role
Work together with consultants; architects, interior designers, engineers etc. to establish the project's specifications.
Obtain licenses and permits from the proper authorities.
Determine the resources (people, tools, and materials) required from beginning to end while keeping budgetary constraints in mind.
To ensure that deadlines are met, schedule all construction activities and interim phases.
Purchase supplies and equipment, keep an eye on inventories, and promptly address deficiencies.
Employ consultants and other staff, and assign duties
Monitor the work of mechanics, laborers, and others and provide guidance as necessary
Evaluate your progress and write thorough scheduled reports.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and report any problems.
Requirements
A proven track record of managing construction (commercial and residential) projects
Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and project management principles
Knowledge of the requirements for quality, safety, and health
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of project management and construction software
Outstanding abilities in negotiations and communication
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
A research oriented, capable leader and team player
Engineering, building science, or a related field BSc or BA
An advantage for having relevant or comparable certification for safety and health
